May round-up

May was a good month, spring has finally started so I had my first days spent in the park with a book. I’m slowly working my way through all the books I have, no longer on a book buying ban, but still managed to buy less than I read in a month, I’m very proud of myself.

I also bought two new bookshelves, I thought one of them will replace the old one and I will have one new one, but my Bigger Half agreed to keep the old bookshelf too, so now I have 2 new bookshelves, five shelves each. When I made some space on the old shelf (it already had double rows of books) I still have five and a half free shelves! To celebrate this I already bought four books (two for the Bigger Half, so they don’t count) and I’m sure there will be more coming. Let’s hope I’ll manage to still read more than I buy.

In June I will be joining 20 Books of Summer led by Cathy at 746 Books. It goes on from 1st June to 5th September I need to read 20 books which I think is possible, one thing I don’t want to commit to is a list, so my list will be revealed as I go.
