My 2016 reading plans in random order. I’ll limit it to 50 to make it at least slightly probable I’ll actually read all of them this year. Also I’ll keep the crime out, because I tend to read it in between more serious stuff.

London. The Biography– Peter Ackroyd – I live in this city, so should probably know it better. – (r) read in 2017- Likeness and Presence: A History of the Image before the Era of Art – Hans Belting – because of my studies
- Faces – Hans Belting – same as above, I feel I should catch up on some classic art history writing.
- Thinking Fast and Slow – Daniel Kahneman – sometimes one needs to take care of ones brain
- We Need To Talk About Kevin – Lionel Shriver – I wanted to read it ever since I saw the movie, which was 4 years ago, shame on me.
- Selected Essays – Virginia Woolf – as a challenge
The Outsider.The Stranger – Albert Camus(r)- I never read it and it’s connected to the next bookThe Meursault Investigation – Kamel Daoud(r)- highly praised, I’m also curious of how those two books will work together24/7: Late Capitalism and the Ends of Sleep – Jonathan Crary(r)- because sometimes I feel trapped in my job and why not blame the systemBad Science – Ben Goldacre(r)- A Brief History of Seven Killings – Marlon James – it got Man Booker Prize, I’m curious and I managed to buy it before my ban for book buying in the first quarter of 2016
