Last Friday, like everybody and their dog, I decided to go and see Lumiere London lights festival. Despite the cold it was a great walk all through the central London, a place that I generally tend to avoid, but as I discovered I miss it too. It was great to rediscover some long forgotten places.
There is something about lights that makes people feel festive, even though Christmas is behind us there was this holiday feeling in the air. Maybe because it encouraged a lot of people to go out and rediscover known places in new context and doing something out of the ordinary.
Some photos below 🙂
Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures. 🙂 Hope you had a great time.
I visited London six years ago, and I loved the place. It is also special to me because I overcame my fear of escalators there. 🙂 Weird memory, but still important. 😉

It was great fun to rediscover the city :). Fear of escalators must have been tough in the beginning in London, they’re everywhere! I still don’t fully trust moving walkways.
